Head of Digital Marketing – Ecommerce

A leading consumer services company has an ambitious agenda to transform its business over the next 3 years and there will be a strong focus to digitize every experience to give to their prospects and existing clients.

One key focus area is a priority to accelerate the transformation to mobile first capability and along the way driven user journeys, user experience, platform design in the C2B space.
With strong blend of data and digital, you bring technology based marketing thinking to a loyalty platform that is developing deep martech capabilities for our merchant partners.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the following
-Owning the overall brand and market positioning strategy for the business
-Building a team of savvy partnership marketers that drive complete marketing strategy for their loyalty partners and provide both solutions and consulting services.
-Building a team of consumer marketers that will engage their loyalty consumers both on traditional plastic based usage and mobile platform.
-Developing critical digital capabilities and martech solutions that can be used by their marketers and embedded into their products.

•Significant experience developing brands and marketing strategies in physical/digital/mobile space.
•Demonstrated experience having run complex marketing platform either in advertising agencies or marketing creative agencies.
•Deep experience in SEO and SEM capabilities.
•Led data based marketing campaigns and promotions to promote merchandise and product capabilities. Critical capability to measure and optimize marketing metrics like CPA, CPC, CPL, and other digital dimensions.
•Have strong working knowledge of latest mobile technologies (CMS, onsite, mobile advertising platforms) and how they impact client experience and journeys.
•Strong data analysis competencies and ability to quickly build and test hypothesis.
•Experience working with paid social media advertising and their analytical tools.
•Managed significant budgets and put budgeting plans and financial disciplines in previous experiences.
•Finally, led a learning organization of best minds in this area.

•Minimum of 15+ years’ experience all in the area of brand marketing with a focus on physical and digital platforms.
•Strong marketing background in both traditional advertising and media agencies and new age platforms, technologies, and business models.
•Minimum of Bachelors but prefer Masters in Technology, Marketing, or hard sciences.
•Strong data analytics skills and inclination towards measurement of marketing programs.
•Managed teams of 20+ people with consumer and campaign marketing, technology, and brand background.
•Experience running online platform marketing, digital marketing firms with focus on financial services and/or loyalty, and/or e-commerce critical.
