VP Business Development – Precision Component Manufacturing

Headquartered in Singapore with operations in Singapore, Malaysia and China our client is a strategic manufacturing partner trusted by global producers in medical, automotive and a broad range of industrial markets. One of their major business units is focused on Precision Components – manufacturing precision-engineered components where Client has deep expertise in plastic injection molding, aluminum die-casting, precision machining and deep-drawn metal stamping.

We are currently working with them to recruit a Regional VP for Business Development based in Singapore. Reporting direct to the COO you will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and on-going 3 year business plans to deliver profitable growth for precision components / parts business.


Duties & Responsibilities;
• Set up appropriate corporate structure to support growth opportunities of global accounts
• Manage key customer relationships at various levels (including senior executives or board members)
• Expected to generate sales revenue of USD300MIL to USD500MIL size for the global accounts managing.
• Manage and coach subordinates to deliver business results
• Set and monitor sales target/forecast, departmental budget and KPI
• Manage and oversee the whole business process: product development , commercial negotiation, price management to final execution to meet customers’ expectation
• Travel overseas for business meetings and exhibitions


Background & Experience:
• University Degree holder preferably with MBA & possess minimum 12 years senior leadership role in Business Development / Sales & Marketing
• Proven track record in serving Top Fortune 500 companies, preferably in precision components manufacturing sector.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English), presentation, strategic planning and execution
• Proficient in understanding and working in technical environment
• Solid experience in contract and commercial negotiation and change management
• Passion to build long-term business relationships with the customers especially CXO levels network.
• Inspiring and stimulating; appreciation of entrepreneur spirit
