Retrofit Support Engineer - Aircraft Maintenance Operations

Role Overview:
Our client is a global market leader in the Aerospace products & services sector with an established reputation for innovation & quality. As part of their continued expansion of their APAC business we are working with them to recruit an Engineering Retrofit Support Engineer for their MRO business. Their maintenance service includes services ranging from components supply and repair to full airframe maintenance and engineering service to Airlines & private owners and in this role you will be responsible for helping to identify parts with low reliability performance, support the analysis of the released technical documentation related to parts modification and participate to the support of the retrofit activity

Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of retrofit activities required to record, analyze and review all modifications applicable for their maintenance operations.

You be required to capture, record and perform a 1st analysis of all released documentations (Service Bulletin, Vendor Service Bulletin / Service Information Letter, etc) related to part modifications + perform recommendations to support Airworthiness documentation.

Follow KPI / processes for retrofit advancement & follow up of the retrofit planning and report alerts if there is a deviation, assisting to monitor the cost and embodiment of retrofit

Identify parts reaching soon the defined limit in Airline MIS software and propose relevant actions to perform for parts having a Hard Time (HT) / On Condition (OC) list and Life Limited Parts (LLPs) and perform the follow up of TCI (Time control Items) and shelf life parts, identify parts where actions are required and propose action plan.

You will also be required to check technical documentation and ensure that records related to Part Number information are maintained to the standard in MIS system or update accordingly information in Maintenance Information System (MIS).

Background & Experience:
You will possess Bachelor Degree specialized in aeronautical engineering or maintenance engineering or related engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of maintenance operations, configuration management and aircraft systems (Avionics, Power plant, Flight controls, Air management, Landing Gear, etc)

You will also have a strong background in Reliability management principles: MTBUR calculation, root cause analysis and investigations and ideally possess 3 to 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or airline operations (MRO engineering) and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
