Reliability Support Engineer - Aircraft Maintenance Operations

Role Overview:
Our client is a global market leader in the Aerospace products & services sector with an established reputation for innovation & quality. As part of their continued expansion of their APAC business we are working with them to recruit an Engineering Reliability Support engineer for their MRO business. Their maintenance service includes services ranging from components supply and repair to full airframe maintenance and engineering service to Airlines & private owners and in this role you will be responsible for helping to identify parts with low reliability performance, identify corrective actions and to propose plans to recover the situation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the oversight, delivery and performance of components carrying out investigation and analysis of failure analysis / workshop tests to identify the main failures mode of components.

Key deliverables for this role will be to identify parts that need to be upgraded to support the contract & provide information / updates to relevant teams.

You will also be required to assist with the creation of new part number in the MIS (Maintenance Information System) system & ensure MIS data kept up to date.

With regards component removals rate, you will assist with analysing reasons for removal on identified components, alert relevant teams when components have a degrading reliability trends and provide analysis for shop finding reports and identify reason of removal. You will also be required to deliver analysis result to relevant teams to help them to reduce removal rate

Background & Experience:
You will possess Bachelor Degree specialized in aeronautical engineering or maintenance engineering or related engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of maintenance operations, configuration management and aircraft systems (Avionics, Power plant, Flight controls, Air management, Landing Gear, etc)

You will also have a strong background in Reliability management principles: MTBUR calculation, root cause analysis and investigations and ideally possess 3 to 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or airline operations (MRO engineering) and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
