NAVIGATION & VEHICLE CONTROL ENGINEER – Autonomous Controls

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Are you looking for a role working on cutting edge technology? To work for a market leader in the field autonomous mobile robotics developing tomorrow’s unmanned mobile robots / drones today? Our client has been expert in the field of semi-autonomous / autonomous controlled vehicles & robots for over a decade & have partnered with leading technology developers across the globe to bring highly integrated platforms & technology to market.

We are currently working with then to recruit a Navigation & Vehicle Control Engineer to design and implement vehicle control module and auxiliary vehicle payload interface module and design and implement behavioural and motion planning for autonomous ground vehicles


BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:
Degree qualified engineer with a background in Mechatronics / Robotics / Electronics / Computer Science.

Ideally you will have previous experience of control engineering with experiences in control systems and optimal control methods. You will also have experience in C++ development on Linux Platforms for real time and embedded systems application, familiar with CAN messaging, ROS, MRPT, or Matlab is an advantage
