AVP, IT Business Analyst – Payments (Corporate Banking)

Job description

​As Senior IT Business Analyst, you will support the implementation of a new remittance platform in the APAC region to promote business growth, improve operational efficiency and improve system maintainability, leading to lower costs and increase in revenue for the bank.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate business and operation requirements into functional and system requirements (projects include APAC Digital Supply Chain Finance, SSC Centralization, ISO20022 Migration, and PayCIS rollout in Thailand and future APAC branches).

• Create business/user requirements documents, interface requirement documents and requirements traceability matrix.

• Create operational workflows and use cases diagrams.

• Provide viable IT solutions that improve operational efficiency, user experience, and delivers business initiatives.

• Review design documents from vendors and other IT teams.

• Provide SIT, UAT, regression testing and rehearsal testing support.

• Provide system training for operation users.

• Support BAU activities such as production incidents, BCP and DR drills when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System, Computer Science or Applied Science with min. 8 years of work experience in a bank/financial institution.

• Min. 8 years of IT experience specifically in software application development

• Experience in SDLC (waterfall) and has supported project management, project governance and quality control.

• Extensive experience working on large scale projects (> USD5million)

• Prior work experience in Payments, Cash Management, Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, ISO20022 or SWIFT.

• Experience in domestic RTGS, ACH and real-time payments in various countries of Asia Pacific and East Asia region.

• Good understanding of Straight-thru processing (STP) and operational efficiency

• Knowledge of process re-engineering and development of centralized platforms

• Knowledge of Java, J2EE application development

• Strong analytical skills and attention to details

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment

• IIBA certification (CBAP) and PMP certification is a plus

• Experience with Cloud adoption and API/microservices enablement is a plus
