Job description
This is a key role in the payment and finance function of a regional digital bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take charge of the Payment Operations function and ensure that work processes comply to the Bank’s and regulatory guidelines
Participate in the testing and implementation of the payment system
Manage settlement of payment/transfer transactions via MEPS, FAST, SWIFT etc
Manage post-trade settlement functions such as trade processing, ensuring instructions are released to market, reconciliation etc
Identify operational risks and take steps to mitigate such risks to prevent financial losses to the Bank
Attend to trade-related queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
Other ad-hoc duties & project(s) as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
A good degree with at least 8 years of payment ops experience in a Bank
Well-versed with the local regulatory framework
Sound knowledge of SWIFT, MEPS, FAST etc
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
