Job description
Charterhouse is partnering a Payment Solutions start-up who are hiring for a Compliance Officer to join their firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic individuals who looking to grow within a fast-paced environment, whilst working in a varied position as the Compliance Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Regional Head, you will be overseeing the end-to-end licensing application of the Payment Services Act, acting as the point of contact with the regulators, and providing compliance advice to the business.
You will also implement the compliance framework and policies, and create sound internal controls whenever necessary. Furthermore, you will support contract negotiations across all business lines and review all legal documents with investors, partners, and clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
You should be degree educated with at least 6 years of Corporate, Legal or Regulatory experience within banking or financial services.
In-house compliance experience in a payment business or financial services business will be highly advantageous, and due to the nature of the role, you should have a strong understanding of PSA.
