Job description
An exciting opportunity to join one of Singapore’s top consulting firm as a Data Architect.
This person will be responsible for South East Asia’s Cloud and IT Transformation arm, working on key client account’s data architecturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in teams within the consulting practice, interacting with other teams, providing cloud & data architecture skills support for key client accounts.
Have full ownership of developing a portfolio of solutions to support client agenda, leveraging best in class Cloud architecture, logical and physical data flow design, digital data models, AI / ML etc.
Develop a detailed technical solution plan and drive it alongside the full sales lifecycle; from origination to sale closure
Lead conversations with client’s CTO / technical leads and co-develop business and data architecture solutions
Be engaged in more than one project at the same time, leading delivery while serving as a Subject Matter Expert on specific topics or even work-streams
Manage work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive position
Provide specific guidance to team members to ensure that project focus is on target and work is accomplished on time and of the highest quality standards
Contribute to thought capital development on topics of interest to potential clients and collaborating with others in the firm on client development activities in the areas of Cloud First strategy, enabling the cloud journey for the client.
Strengthen and evolve current assets to drive growth in Cloud First Strategy topics, industry wide, including but not limiting to cloud architecture, industry data models, cloud architecture and engineering, hybrid cloud strategy, cloud governance etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Min 5 years’ experience in technology strategy projects, including complex cloud deals in the intersection of technology, business and finance
Certified Data Architecture skills for at least one of the 2 hyper scalers – AWS, Azure with demonstrated experience in Cloud technologies.
Proven Experience in industry process – able to translate industry use cases into future solution architectures, with data security and compliance.
Strong technical skills to model cloud based solutions for complex business digital transformation
Strong synthesis skills to deliver insights and conclusions to C-Level about complex problems, cloud architecture and industry data models, cloud transformation initiatives, etc.
Good communication skills to help clients understand impacts and benefits of technology, move the client organization to the desired change state and help communicate transformation journeys
Strong exposure to Cloud platform – hybrid, private, public. Relevant technical certifications with either Azure, AWS would be a big positive.
Experience in Cloud journey, with demonstrated capabilities around Cloud design, application migration, industry data model, future tech value generators ( e.g. Blockchain, AI, Machine Learning, AR/ VR, etc. )
Implementation experience for Data lake is a must
Some level of exposure to core business processes (Customer, Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain) within the industry, interaction with business function leaders like Finance, Marketing, Supply chain to deliver successful outcomes.
