Job description

Finance FP&A Business Partner role with an Innovative High Growth MNC

With a continued clear mandate to drive new market opportunities; our client is looking to hire a dynamic, go-getting Finance FP&A Business Partner.

The ideal profile should have proven depth of FP&A business partnering, providing quality financial insights, conducting cost optimisation, and evaluating business cases for product performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner Product team to develop business cases analysis and scenario/sensitivity simulation (applicable during Product lifecycle from formation to cessation to support investment/divestment) and communicate insights towards management decision making

  • Timely monthly reporting of Product Profitability (pre and post cost allocation) against AOP/forecast/competition. This includes drill-down analysis & articulation of business progress/insights, drawing information from financial tools, competitive analysis and stakeholder business discussion.

  • Work with stakeholders across Network engineers and Product team to understand & improve product cost structure and to develop/publish annual standard costing for use in sales pricing empowerment

  • Partner Product team and collaborate with stakeholders to develop, critique and mature AOP & forecast.

  • Conduct governance with a business enablement mindset and maintain finance system architecture eg design of cost centre & product code

  • Explore and experiment initiatives (eg RPA, process change) to enhance productivity

Requirements:

  • 5 - 8 years of proven FP&A business partnering and/or management accounting experience

  • Good to have relevant technology industry exposure - High Tech / Telco or Cloud (Not a must)

  • Advanced skills in Excel, VBA, financial modeling skills would be a plus.

  • Ability to take ownership for delivering projects with a high degree of autonomy

  • Collaboration skills and ability to work well both as part of a team and independently

  • Excellent time management skills and demonstrated record of working on a number of projects simultaneously

  • High proficiency in terms of written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand and explain complex concepts in clear and succinct manner
