Job description
Our client is a Global Investment bank with strong presence in APAC. The Bank is currently undergoing significant growth in Singapore and a newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Risk analyst to join their team here in Singapore.
Reporting to the Head of Transportation, you will prepare credit proposals ranging from new facilities, waivers, and annual renewals with accurate and comprehensive due diligence and analyses in line with the Bank's policy. This includes, to spread, analyse and comment on the financial statements using CRF, Cash flow projections and modelling, understanding the latest development in the shipping industry, conducting due diligence and doing SWOT analysis. You will also conduct covenants check and prepare monitoring reports. The incumbent should have a strong understanding of financial modelling ( DCF, Merger model, LBO model).
To be successful, individual must possess:

A recognised degree in Accounting/ Banking & Finance/ Finance

At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking looking at ECM/ M&A with a focus in shipping

Strong analytical, communication and writing skills

Strong understanding of risk
