Job description

​Taking pride in driving towards a more sustainable world, our client in the telecommunications industry specializing in mobile, fixed, and cloud networks is looking to hire an IP Engineer.

You will be a member of the Market Services APJ team for the Cloud and Network Services Business Group to design and implement L2 & L3 services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently planning, execute, integrate & Migrate IP/MPLS transport networks for multiple different services

• Design and implementation on L2 & L3 services

• Generate standard project documentation and network device configurations including High Level Design, detailed low-level design, detailed implementation plan, and detailed test plan for highly complex networks.

• Plan and execute highly complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity

• Proactive Service & Support including device bug scrubs, migration strategy planning and new feature introduction

• Assist customer with deployment and strategy of highly complex tools and related Network Management Systems

• Design E2E cloud core with respect to Telenor Model Network that can be integrated with customer network topology

• Design network tapping solution for both physical and virtual tapping solution

• Maintain Passive tap Aggregator filtering policy document

• Maintain Nuage Network Organization design (VSD organization)

• Maintain network equipment naming schema document

• Maintain Nuage Micro-Service (Nuage ACL) document with respect to Customer Model Network

• Maintain Physical Firewall Policy document

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience

• Experience in IP related pre-sales, Architecture design & Implementation.

• Understanding basic cloud network (OpenStack networking architecture)

• Proven design & Implementation skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in Data Networks

• Checkpoint, Nexus, Catalyst, Cisco IOS, ASR IOS-XE, Juniper MX, EX, T4000 series platforms.

• Firewalls: Juniper, ASA and Palo Alto, and Check Point R77.30 exposure is good

• Experience on design and implementation for L2 & L3 services using – VPLS / MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LDP, RSVP-TE, Multicast.

• Only Singaporeans

• Good to have but not a must: CCNA, CCSP, CCIP, CCIE, CCSA, CCSE, JNCIA, JNCIP, CEH
