Taking pride in driving towards a more sustainable world, our client in the telecommunications industry specializing in mobile, fixed, and cloud networks is looking to hire a Packet Core Solution Architect.
You will be a member of the Market Services APJ team for the Cloud and Network Services Business Group to evaluate the business needs and determining how IT can support those needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to and support the Architecture, Technical Scope of Work (SOW) and Solution Description for the Customer project.
Assist internal teams from offer commencement through to final solution delivery and acceptance by the customer.
Perform integration and testing of an E2E Architecture and Design that meets the specifications, time to market and product/quality constraints.
Gather and document service and business requirements and transform them to solution description/design.
Identify the BG's involved and coordinates cross-BG activities for initial phase of solution development.
Collaborate with other domain/BG teams to ensure the compatibility and interoperability between domains and subsystem.
Identify Key Technical Risks and Issues, develop mitigation plans
Review roadmap alignment with solution to be implemented
Apply solution architecture standards processes and principles, to create and maintain a solution's integrity over time, including verification that the solution meets the client’s requirements.
Work with design team to produce the low-level design and specific parameter configuration.
Assist with technical delivery of the end-to-end project – design implementation to acceptance.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with Packet Core technologies
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Experienced in building E2E Packet Core Solutions including all interoperability aspects with other subsystems/domains
Experienced in presenting Solutions to customer (C-level) and convince the customer of solutions provided
Experienced in preparing High Level Design for the Packet Core networks to be delivered
