Regional Group Business Controller (Director)

Job description

This senior leadership role will be directly responsible for the overall finance team based both locally in Singapore and across in the regional countries. 50% travel will be expected within the SEA countries.

With significant depth of manufacturing industry experience, this position as the right hand man to the Regional Business Head will be leading the overall strategic financial management for the business. Key areas covered include business and financial operational controllership, and financial planning & budgeting.

Budget and management reviews, performance monitoring, CAPEX reviews and monitoring of return on investments, and analyzing & reporting on special ad-hoc projects will be expected.

Providing a solid stewardship and upskilling the capabilities of the Regional Finance team will be essential, including developing, implementing and maintaining of accounting policies & processes that will be aligned to corporate’s.

Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor Degree and CA / CPA

• Minimum 15 years’ of regional HQ strategic financial & operational business controlling experience, gained from Manufacturing setups / industries

• Proven regional leadership experience

• Experience with CAPEX reviewing and monitoring of return on investments will be required

• Proven business partner and commercially astute with a high level of energy, and go-getting attitude towards challenges

• Dynamic, driven, sharp, results-oriented and with strong understanding of business operations & key drivers

• ERP systems skills highly advantageous

• Strong written and spoken English communications, in order to liaise with the regional teams
