Job Description

Responsibilities

  • In a regional marketing role with Consumer Health team, the candidate will play a key role in driving consumer health brands in Asia Pacific by managing essential elements of the brand management to drive category and business growth
  • Develop products and marketing strategies by identifying potential consumer insights; conduct market research; project management with timeline plans and pricing strategy
  • Co-own the commercial success of the derma portfolio business with local consumer healthcare teams
  • Manage product line independently with P&L ownership
  • Partner local consumer healthcare teams to develop B2C and B2B brand and tactical plans and success matrix, which includes brand positioning, value proposition, image building, shopper marketing, distribution channel mix, pricing and consumer promotions
  • Actively propose initiatives that will enable business growth and share best practice learning from lead countries
  • Drive Brand Growth:
    • Develop regional campaigns with long-term communication roadmap leveraging on strong consumer insight, ensure relevance to markets and see through to local implementation
    • Lead project timeline management for regional activities on innovation, new products development, and digital strategy in collaboration with agencies.
    • Work closely with country teams to ensure efficient and seamless execution of regional activities
    • Organize monthly performance call with markets and monitor competitive landscape
    • Track and monitor project media, digital performance, budgets and spends on monthly basis
    • Support the Senior Regional Commercial Manager on other job requirements
    • Sustainable value creation of the category to the APAC business
    • Overall growth pace and financial health of the brands under his/her responsibility

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of product or brand marketing experience at regional level in consumer healthcare and/or FMCG in Asia Pacific; experience in beauty portfolio is a plus
  • Degree in Business
  • Have experience in product management, excellent analytical skills and business acumen
  • Well verse with digital initiatives and communication
  • Possess openness to new ideas and approaches, highly-motivated team player who is able to make impact on countries and a strong sense of duty, and measure performance by results in this fast-paced and demanding nature of product management.
  • Able to share clear point of view while managing different country teams in a complex environment, and be prepared to recommend differentiated strategies/approaches and go-to-market based on different market clusters
  • Solid hands-on operational experience; local market experience in Asia Pacific is advantageous
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good writing ability and presentation skills (multi lingual is preferred)
  • 20-30% travelling is expected especially during the pre-launch and launch period, while the base of location will be in Singapore
