Regional Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager with a Reputable Pharmaceutical / Healthcare & Medical Devices Brand
Responsibilities:
Working within a high calibre team and in an individual contributor position reporting into the Financial Controller, this Regional Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager will be accountable for the financial accounting & closing, statutory reporting, FP&A and compliance activities (to US GAAP, IFRS, SOPs).
Working very closely with the business’s shared services team, you will:
- manage all the finance and accounting operations;
- business partner with the operations team to drive financial support for key initiatives;
- review working capital requirement and aging of intercompany receivables and payables;
- support business planning processes and forecast update whilst ensuring timely system submissions;
- be responsible for all tax-related matters (whilst liaising with the tax specialist team);
- directly engage with internal and external auditors;
- spearhead continuous improvement with processes and systems
Skills/Experience:
- Qualified Accountant and/or Degree in Accountancy
- 8 - 10 years of relevant financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting and planning experience
- Proven track record as a regional financial business partner
- Hands on, detail oriented and meticulous at work
- ERP system skills (eg. SAP / TM1) highly preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Strong ability to influence senior key regional stakeholders
