Security Engineer – Vice President

Job description

​We are hiring for an established Financial Institute with Global presence.

This is a senior role, who will be responsible for driving the design, architecture, and implementation of security solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the subject matter expert to drive the Bank’s security transformation agenda including implementation of security strategy and technology solutions for the region.

• Develop a cybersecurity deployment plan such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) implementation.

• Develop technical solutions to automate repeatable tasks for better efficiency and further product innovation

• Provide a comprehensive security risk profile including issues and propositions for further system security enhancement.

• Keep up to date with evolving attack tactics, techniques and procedures and apply continuous improvement.

• Support of the development of server and endpoint security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 8 years of experience.

• Experience in building, maintaining and operating various security tools.

• Hands on experience in various security systems such as firewalls, EDR / XDR, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, and web proxies

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as MAS TRM, PCI DSS, etc.

• Hands-on experience in the use of Splunk, scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) will be favorable
