Senior DevOps Engineer

One of our esteemed client in Singapore is looking for a permanent position of talented Senior DevOps Engineer who is motivated by achievement, loves working in a close-knit team, wants to be trusted to use and develop their skills, to learn without limits, and be at the forefront of a true technology revolution.

Your experience and skills

• Rapidly install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools for all environments under change control/configuration management.

• Quickly and correctly diagnose issues with environments, including identifying patterns that could indicate a security threat.

• Support the execution of tests and other activities on testing environments, including liaising with customers and associated project management and planning.

• Deploy and operate internal/external testing environments.

• Create, update and own environment configuration documentation.

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Liaise with vendors, customers, team members and other IT personnel for resolutions.

To be successful, individual must possess:

• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, networking and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments, preferably for a financial services institution

• Expert in the administration and performance tuning of Java application stacks, Azure, scripting skills (shell, Python), security engineering

• Experience with monitoring systems, specifically DataDog, Graphite/Grafana, Ansible, ELK, Jira, Service Desk, virtualization and containerization

• Experience with one or more blockchain technologies desirable but not essential

• Immediate availability strongly preferred
