Job Description
-
Our client is on a lookout for a Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 5-8 years of IT experience and 3-5 years of relevant experience to drive adoption of DevOps practices. This role will be responsible for the implementation of a seamless DevOps process from development all the way to production, hence will have proven experience in Continuous Integration & Delivery, Infrastructure-as-code and/or strong knowledge of infrastructure.

To be considered, you should possess the required skills and experience as below
Qualification & Skills
Strong experience in configuring Jenkins and writing Ansible roles

Experience with Maven, Gradle, or Ivy to build projects

Experience using and automating source control systems: BitBucket/Git/SVN
-
Infra as Code experience using Terraform, Ansible,
-
Unix scripting to automate builds & deploys
-
Automating integration/unit tests to run as part of the CI flow
-
Extending/Leveraging existing scripts to achieve seamless CI flow
-
Assist teams to adopt the DevOps processes put in place
Great-to-have
-
Middleware experience: Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss, Weblogic

Monitoring, Alert and tracing tools: Zabbix, Prometheus, Zipkin, Alertmanager, Grok, Mtail

Cloud experience using AWS, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry

Containerization and Virtualization knowledge: Docker/Garden, VirtualBox
