Senior Manager – Fund Service Operations

Job description

Our client, an investment management company is looking to hire a Senior Manager for their Fund Services Operations in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be the focal point for the operational service team with the Funds team alongside the client service team. He/She will be the Subject Matter Expert on the Funds business and the Funds platform including VCC, Investment Funds, and future funds platform. He/She will maintain the relationships with the Funds team and will handle all their operational questions. He/She will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and discrepancies. He/She will identify opportunities to enhance service offering, improve efficiencies, evolve workflows, and minimize operational risks.

You will also participate in projects such as new fund launches and product approval meetings. You will work with the investment service function to come up with solutions, and address their business needs and concerns. Additionally, you will ensure the respective platform is operating efficiently and effectively. You will have oversight over the delivery of services by the appointed custodian, fund administrator, and transfer agent and ensure within agreed metrics and SLAs.

REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor qualified

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in fund services or asset management industry

• At least 5 years of experience in managing a team

• MUST have a solid background in funds vehicles particularly Luxembourg SICAVs and Singapore VCC.

• Knowledgeable with cross-asset products such as Fixed Income, Equity, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, etc.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Quick learner, able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, high sense of urgency
