Job description

Charterhouse Partnership has been tasked to assist a global asset manager who are recruiting within their Regulatory Compliance team. 

A newly created role, handling all aspects of financial crime matters and projects, focusing on the Asia business.

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Compliance Director, the job holder will assist with the design and monitoring of AML, sanctions and ABC policies and procedures within Asia. 

You will work with the Financial Crime Compliance team to perform basic and enhanced due diligence, including AML, KYC, Anti-Corruption, PEP, Sanction, and Negative News screening on new and existing relationships and assess financial crime risk for new products, investments, processes, vendors, and systems

 

Requirements

You will be a degree educated professional, who has a minimum of 10 years of FCC experience within the asset management or international fund distribution industry. 

Strong knowledge of local Asian AML, Sanction and Anti-Corruption regulatory requirements (i.e., MAS, SFC, etc.) and an ability to translate them into operational/process requirements is a must. 

Fluency in English required, with Cantonese or Mandarin a plus due to regional coverage
