Senior Software Engineer (C++ & Python)

Job description

Our esteemed client is a market leader in cryptocurrency trading, advisory, and asset management is recruiting senior engineers to design, build and roll out high performance, low latency solutions at scale to optimize and improve complex trading systems and workflows. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms, be experienced in trading systems design and be ready to take ownership of end-to-end design and development.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• 5+ years’ experience working in a high-performance team, within a premier investment bank, hedge fund or proprietary trading firm

• C++ experience is a must

• Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems

• Prior experience with end-to-end development of trading system of any asset class

• Good communication skills and experience working closely with Traders and/or Quants 

• Must be able to work independently

• Interest in and good understanding of both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets

• Experience with other technologies such as Python, React, JavaScript, SQL, Machine Learning, Big Data, Blockchain is a plus

• Good understanding of finance and trading concept
