Responsibilities
Pre-sales phase:
- Leads customer projects including following tasks from sales phase to after sales phase
- Pre-sales phase presentation support
- Supports on request with demos and expertise on Lab organization
- Creates concepts for workflow, lab organization and connectivity
- Determines customer experience/skills to determine training needs
Implementation phase:
- Customer workflow assessment & optimization
- Communicate with customer on installation requirements and plan
- Integrates new IT solution into existing or new workflow
- Installs IT solution, connects instruments, host and verifies connectivity together with service and application representatives
- Installs, configures and tests software/hardware systems at customer site
- Provides trainings to customers
- Provides timely troubleshooting support
- Ensuring contact with the global support organization and product management team for enhancement development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or high-diploma holder with commensurate experiences) in Information Technology , Computer Science or equivalent
- Relevant experience in technical support and network administration
- Hands-on experience in Windows Servers, Windows PC, MS Office, LAN, VLAN, WLAN and TCP/IP networking
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL server or the other database administration and management
- Experience in managing routers and firewalls
- Good problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated fast learner with passion on new technologies and strong sense of responsibility
- Proficient in spoken/written English
- Team player who can work smoothly with internal associates, customers and end-users
- Experience in Lab information Systems or similar within a clinical environment (i.e. hospital, laboratory, university) is an asset
- Commercial and client-oriented
- Must be proficient in Windows and MS SQL
- Hardware Experience/knowledge
- Active Directory (Not compulsory but will be an asset)
- VMWare (Not compulsory but will be an asset)
