Job description
Our client is a prestigious Global Bank with strong presence in APAC. In line with their global strategy to expand in Asia, a couple of newly created headcounts has been created for a Valuation controller base in Singapore.
Reporting to the head of Valuation control, the candidate must have a strong understanding of the Asian Markets and products. The role requires the incumbent to validate market data inputs, perform price testing across the different asset classes to ensure compliance with policies and standards. You must be able to identify any pricing issues, understand the methodology behind models and challenge relevant stakeholders. Ability to build pricing models are not required.
To be successful, individual must possess:

A recognized degree in relevant discipline

At least 5-10 years’ experience in valuation control/ product control

Asian markets experience ideally focused on FX

Strong stakeholder management skill
