Job description
Responsibilities:
-
Design, plan, configure and maintain comprehensive, well-structured enterprise Infrastructure and Application Monitoring (including application transaction performance monitoring).

Work on Application Performance Monitoring through ManageEngine AppManager, creating metrics, alerts, reports and dashboards for the in-scope applications.

Discover devices, model and create topology views, groups in ManageEngine AppManager and OpManager, as per the requirements, to monitor and manage the IT infrastructure and application landscape.

Create/update new monitoring templates (based on agent-based and agentless monitoring solutions).

Create/update monitoring Dashboards (Business Dashboards, Application Monitoring Dashboards, and Infrastructure Monitoring Dashboards).

Participate on RUN/Operations activities (Morning checks, health checks, upgrades of products, etc).

Maximizes system performance by monitoring performance of the System Tools; troubleshooting server and application problems.
Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Certifications on any enterprise monitoring tool and ITILv3 will be an added advantage

Strong knowledge on SQL and PostgreSQL databases
-
Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP and SMS for integration to Management Tools, including other networking protocols will be essential
