APAC Market Access/ Health Economics Director:

Our client is a key player in Molecular Diagnostics area.

Responsibilities

Reports to SVP, Global Access
Collaborate with the commercial “internal and external (distributors)” teams to ensure execution of the global access strategy for company current and future products in the APAC Region
Be the field-based expert on social marketing, demand generation and public private partnerships including major pharmaceutical companies working in the region and coordinate field strategies to maximize market access to company products
Support the sales force meet their targets
Develop relationships with key regional fund managers/ directors, pharmaceutical companies and implementing partners
Interface with KOL and develop strategies to address other market access barriers and work with customers to successfully launch and implement key public health programs
Develop and maintain relationships with key organizations including WHO, the CDC, USAID, MoH, Global Fund regional and in-country teams, regional CHAI and FIND offices, etc.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regional and local funding cycles through donor research, face-to-face meetings, KOL interviews and attendance at public meetings
Identify, develop and disseminate real program implementation best practices supporting company products’ value proposition
Educate, train and support field sales team on market access issues, including health financing, policy shifts, and program implementation

Experience

Degree required, advanced degree in (health) economics, policy and management studies preferred
Minimum 10 years’ experience in market access in APAC/ SEA
Work in Molecular Diagnostics (Preferred), Clinical Diagnostics & Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Pharma or NGO industries
50% Travelling
