Job description
The Assistant Finance Manager will be tasked to support the full spectrum of accounting operations which entails financial reporting and month-end closing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
Support in budget and forecast preparation
Ensure accuracy of Bank Reconciliation
Liaise with headquarter on Management reporting, Marked-to-Market / Trade Accounting and GST
Responsible for timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
Assist in internal and external audits
Assist the management in system enhancement activities and annual tax filing
Ad-hoc duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree / CA / ACCA
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience in the commodity trading industry with audit experience
Proficiency in Navision would be preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with forecasting and annual budgeting
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
