Job description
Our client is one of the leading MNCs in Clinical Diagnostics & Lifesciences field
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Executive Director, Molecular Solutions
- Develop and implement strategies / initiatives across the APAC region to drive the overall Tissue Diagnostic business with strong commercial acumen and innovative approaches
- People leadership responsibility. You take genuine interest in the people that you lead and work with and discover and develop potential in people
- Responsible for leading product / segment launches and building new commercial business models. You will define an overarching Molecular Oncology strategy combining solutions from Immunohistochemistry (IHC), PCR to Next Generation Sequencing within the current digital ecosystem
- Focus on short-term objectives without losing sight of long-term value with an emphasis on impact of outputs in driving the Tissue Diagnostics portfolio. You will represent the APAC region at the global extended Life Cycle Committee (eLCC), and ensure country / regional needs are considered in the global product portfolio development
- The role will be based in Singapore, regional office for Asia Pacific. International travel of around 50% will be required for this role
Requirements:
- You are someone who influences your own development, pursues your interests across functions and geographies, and understands that a job title is not the final definition of who you are, but a starting point
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, advanced degree (Masters, Medical Degree or Ph.D) is preferred
- At least 15 years of related experience in IVD or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in sales and/or marketing and/or business development roles
- Experience working in regional or global function and/or in large multi-national companies is highly desirable
- Ability to prioritize in an ambiguous environment in accordance to a clear understanding of the business, target markets and trends
- Have outstanding communication (written and oral), listening and negotiation skills and proven commercial acumen demonstrated by previous successes
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, deeply inquisitive to challenge the status quo and adaptable
- Experienced manager who is able to lead and inspire your team, build an inclusive environment and work with different individual personalities
