Job description
Our client is an exciting Life Sciences start-up who is looking for a Commercial Director to assist them in venturing into the new market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive sales & marketing strategy
- Drive sales efforts and bring revenue into the company
- Identification of strategic growth and value creation opportunities
- Engagement of early adopters, key customers, key channel and strategic partners
- Travel to key markets for business development activities, trade shows and conferences
- Overall coordination of different roles and functions within company
- Support Founders and Directors with fundraising efforts
Requirement:
- Life sciences academic background, preferably with MBA
- Prior industry experience in Life Sciences Tools, Pharmaceutical / Biotech R&D, CRO or related
- Prior entrepreneurial experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, sales & marketing experience & strong results in industrial or academic setting
- Superior oral and written communication skills in English
