Deputy Head of Data Governance

Job description

​Rare opportunity to join an International Bank as a Deputy Head of Data Governance working alongside others to manage the company’s risk exposure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the team to propose, build and improve data governance policies for the Group

• Liaise with internal stakeholders across different functions to monitor data policies

• Closely monitor any progress or areas of improvements of the existing data governance framework and report to senior management qualitatively

• Use results from Data Quality Scorecards to close the gaps identified

• Introduce best practices to enhance existing Data Governance frameworks & policies

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least a Bachelor’s in Data Analytics, Business IT, IT, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent with 3-8 years of experience in Governance

• Prior experience in Data Governance frameworks and policy making will be required

• Management Information System experience will be preferred

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services or Consulting industries will be highly recommended
