Job description
Report to: Regional Field Service Manager
Provide installation, basic operational training and repair services within an assigned area to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Required to install / maintain / repair sequencing related equipment on-site
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support, product management, manufacturing and marketing / sales
- Team up with colleagues and other team members
- Developing and coaching new employees

- Excellent communication skills to customer and headquarter
- Being organized and proactive
- Being self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Having good knowledge about computer’s software and hardware
- Good English skills, Chinese would be a plus
- Physical and mental capabilities required
- Being able to travel frequently
Education/Experience:
- Biochemical/Electrical/mechanical engineering background
- 3+ years job experience in servicing biomedical equipment, preferred molecular biological or equivalent instrumentation with high complexity
- Prior knowledge and experience in Genetics, Molecular Biology or Bioinformatics preferred
