FINANCE FOCUSED MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE ROLE WITH US MNC

Job description

​Our client, a US MNC is currently looking for a highly motivated individual skilled in Finance to join them on an exciting journey where the incumbent will have the opportunity to be rotated across the various Finance functions such as Accounting and Reporting, Internal Controls, FP&A, M&A, Treasury etc.

The successful incumbent can expect to find themselves placed in a people focused environment where there is great emphasis on culture as the company attributes much of its success to the personalities it has hired.

Key responsibilities

Corporate Development / M&A

• Support financial modelling and business case development of potential acquisitions.

• Support end-to-end M&A execution process including overseeing of due diligence process, preparation of internal and external presentations, deal documentation and deal closing process.

• Support post-acquisition reviews.

Finance Integration and Transformation

• Support integration of accounting and reporting of new acquisitions.

• Ensure appropriate compliance and internal control mechanisms are in place to meet corporate governance and risk management requirements.

• Provide support for Treasury workstreams.

• Provide support for transformation projects such as Payroll, Oracle deployment, legal entity amalgamation.

Finance Planning and Analysis

• Support on establishing FP&A processes and capabilities across facilities.

• Understand and validate the implication of M&A and Integration Activities to overall business management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years’ relevant finance experience in Financial Consulting firms / FMCG.

• Business process understanding, particularly at least 2 years’ experience in general accounting and audit.

• Excellent in Excel.

• Passion and good understanding for automation in Finance such as Power BI.

• Highly motivated and financially literate individual with drive and determination

• Ability to influence and communicate with people across different functions and positions.

• Strong team player who is organised, hands-on and able to prioritise tasks.

• Great business intuition to provide solutions as well as to make business decisions.

• Ability to operate with humility and have a desire to build, whilst also able to take responsibility for driving outcomes.
