Financial Controller – based in Bangkok

Our Client is one of the fastest-growing global hospitality company within SEA countries, currently they are looking for Financial Controller based in Bangkok

Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with regional finance team based in Singapore and functional department as well as external parties from auditor, tax and banks

• Manage full set of accounts including Thai local regulations and laws as well as overseeing cash management ensuring adequacy of working capital Cash management and forecasting

• Preparing weekly APAC cash flow, forecast to regional finance team

• Planning & overseeing improvements to financial management systems

• Ensure smooth integration for business acquisitions and disposals

• Preparing weekly cash flow forecast and fund request to HQ for additional funding requirements

• Lead the annual audit process, prepare monthly VAT/WHT/CIT submission and handle local tax matters, ensuring timely submission to local authorities

• Provide technical accounting leadership, interpreting existing and proposed accounting guidance and communicating its impact on our business and financial statements

• Improve and implement internal control and annual forecasting and budgeting as well as take ownership over management reporting

Skills/Experience:

• The successful candidate should have proven track records in accounting and finance with in a fast paced environment with a strong sense of urgency as a team leader and experienced with travel retail or hospitality industry would be preferable

• You should possess professional qualifications in Bachelor or Master ’s degree in Accounting minimum of 5 years with supervisory skill , CPA from Big 4 audit firm and commercial experience within global MNC, capable of ERP and Hyperion would be preferable

• You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with high analytical and problem-solving skill. Intellectual curiosity and strong professional judgment. Demonstrated ability for creative analysis and creative problem-solving and be able to demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
