Financial Controller (Global Retail) – Bangkok Based

 One of global retail company based in Bangkok,  currently they are looking for Financial Controller to manage and improve company’s financial performance and accounting operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to General Manager and dotted line to Regional Financial Controller
• Key business partner to all the business functions and support their business case scenarios
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning as well as work closely with key business head to ensure quality of forecasts and budgets
• Develop key matrices for measuring performances of various business units and financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Work with operation team to build optimal and automated finance processes
• Supervise and direct accounting operations to oversee quarterly GST submission and annual corporate tax as well as liaise with both internal and external auditors, tax agent and bank
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place for financial processes and liaise with both internal and external auditors, tax agent and bank

Skills/Experience:

• The successful candidate should have proven track records in financial analyst and finance operations with senior management and supervisory skills are required
• Ability to control on the key financial issues, budgeting process, and performance measures which could support the company's strategic direction
• You should possess professional qualifications in bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting with CPA Thailand, knowledgeable of SAP and advanced excel
• With minimum of 8 years of combined experience from Big4 audit firm and commercial experience within retail or ecommerce or FMCG would be preferable
• You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with high analytical and problem-solving skill. Intellectual curiosity and strong professional judgment
• Demonstrated ability creative problem-solving and be able to demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
