FP&A Manager (APAC region) with top tier Media & Marketing solutions MNC

​Our client, a top tier and well-regarded firm within the Media & Marketing solutions industry is currently looking for a confident and curious candidate with strong analytical skills to manage local and regional FP&A, commercial and business partnering requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Regional FP&A Director in the region’s annual/quarterly financial planning and budgeting exercises.

• Manage region’s monthly and bi-quarterly flash exercises, co-ordinate with the markets on timely submissions, consolidation of APAC results and prepare financial commentaries.

• Gather and organize financial data to provide detailed analysis on variances.

• Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement effective operational strategies.

• Investigate and provide analysis for monthly revenue and expenditure fluctuations.

• Provide analysis on variances between actual results vs monthly forecast by markets and regions.

• Provide brand financial reports on each reporting cycle to regional brand leads.

• Support Regional FP&A Director in preparation of financial slides for presentation to Global Leadership team.

• Support the Regional FP&A Director in developing strategic action plans for markets to achieve financial and business targets of the APAC markets

• Act as key liaison to market CFOs and finance teams on APAC FP&A and reporting requirements.

• Monitor APAC working capital, collections, process and capital expenditures.

• Assist in APAC review and prepare bi-quarterly working capital report.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Self-starter, keen learner, multi-tasking and independent individual with high analytical skills.

• Flexible to adapt to changing reporting requirements and willing to work on improving reporting process and efficiency.

• Strong writing skills to present clear financial commentaries to senior leadership.

• Strong Hyperion, Excel and Powerpoint skills is a must.

• Preferred some with SAP experience.

• Prior experience in FP&A in an advertising (preferable media), or services environment would be preferred.

• Agility and ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

• Logical and organized with the ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines both working autonomously and within a team.

• Must be capable of working with both speed and accuracy.

• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple conflicting requirements.

• Multiple Asian language skills would be an added advantage.
