IT Business Analyst - Innovation

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Business and technical requirements gathering and analysis.

• Develop overall solution architectures and high-level product roadmaps.

• Understand and review business and IT processes, identify issues and areas for improvement.

• Technical assessment and technology sourcing (needs to keep abreast with the latest technology developments in the market)

• Working with stakeholders to formulate MVP (minimal viable product) trials.

• MVP management (includes solutioning, deployment, testing and validation)

REQUIREMENTS:

• An accredited degree in Information Systems / Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years working experience in the IT industry, and a keen awareness on the technology front.

• Dynamic, responsible, self-motivated and possesses good teamwork; and an extraverted personality to proactively approach stakeholders to seek to understand their business challenges and offer holistic technological solutions that can meet the needs.

• Possesses the following skills / attributes:

• Good technical knowledge (e.g., IT solution designing)

• Effective stakeholder engagement and able to communicate seamlessly with non-technical users

• Critical thinking and creative problem solving

• Good documentation and writing skills

• Confident presenter

• Candidates with the following experience will be considered favourably:

• Agile development

• DevSecOps

• Cybersecurity

• Data protection

• IT operations

• Cloud hosting on public clouds such as AWS and Azure
