Project Engineer (Contract role)

Job description

An engineering consultancy providing professional engineering consultancy services in Building Services design and project management our clients’ expertise includes mechanical, electrical (M&E), energy audit, environmental, health and safety (EHS) works. Typical projects include; Residential, Recreational, Institutional, Commercial, Industrial and Infrastructure based projects for both local and overseas clients.

We are currently working with them to recruit a Project Engineer to work on a Food processing plant expansion project. Able to oversee all engineering disciplines (M&E+ Civils) you will be required to handle the project scheduling, lead and co-ordinate project team, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project completed to spec, program & budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage minor addition and alteration project within the manufacturing plant

• Project scheduling, lead and co-ordinate project team, subcontractors and suppliers

• Responsible for site coordination and to make accurate, able to handle on site alterations & queries

• Track & report to management on site problems for corrective actions to be taken

• Oversee the work of the sub-contractors to ensure that safety and health requirements are complied.

Background & Experience:

• Extensive background in M&E Building Services design & construction

• Mechanical / Electrical / equivalent engineering certification from recognised institutions

• Minimum 2 years Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in Singapore Building Construction market

• Able to work in a fast pace environment and handle tight deadlines

• Singaporean only

• 5-day work week; 9~6pm day; able to work during weekends
