Rare opportunity to join a European MNC in the burgeoning biotechnology industry as a Regional Finance Manager.
Reporting to APAC Finance Director, this person will be responsible for FP&A and controllership functions of Singapore entity and assigned entities in Asia.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Fully responsible for FP&A of assigned entities in Asia
- Business partner with Country Managers in assigned region to drive financial discipline in business decisions
- Collaborate with Managing Directors to attain sustainable profit growth
- Lead financial analyses, forecasting and planning
- Work closely with Shared Services to ensure strong internal controls, accounting accuracy and timeliness, tax and regulatory compliance
- Ensure compliance to accounting standards and SOX
- Lead closing activities as well as P&L reporting and forecasting
- Consolidate distributorship, ensure distributor inventory accuracy and reporting
- Responsible for pricing analysis and pricing targets
- Ad-hoc projects/responsibilities as assigned by Finance Director
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Accounting degree/ACCA is a MUST
- CPA or CA qualification is a PRE-REQUISITE
- At least 8 years of relevant experience background in accounting and audit
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech and other related industries highly preferred
- Experience in Big 4 will be a plus
- Strong in internal controls and understanding of operational accounting
- Experience in managing and working with Shared Service Centre
- Excellent in business partnering & financial planning and analysis
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP BW, SAP rollout, Cognos, TM!, Qilkview, Lucanet
- Good team player who can work independently and perform under pressure
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment
