Rare opportunity to join a European MNC in the burgeoning biotechnology industry as Regional Financial Controller

Reporting to APAC Finance Director, this person will be responsible for FP&A and controllership functions of Singapore entity and assigned entities in Asia.

Job Description:

• Fully responsible for FP&A of assigned entities in Asia
• Business partner with Country Managers in assigned region to drive financial discipline in business decisions
• Collaborate with Managing Directors to attain sustainable profit growth
• Lead financial analyses, forecasting and planning
• Work closely with Shared Services to ensure strong internal controls, accounting accuracy and timeliness, tax and regulatory compliance
• Ensure compliance to accounting standards and SOX
• Lead closing activities as well as P&L reporting and forecasting
• Consolidate distributorship, ensure distributor inventory accuracy and reporting
• Responsible for pricing analysis and pricing targets
• Ad-hoc projects/responsibilities as assigned by Finance Director

Job Requirements:

• Reputable Accounting degree and CPA / CA is required
• At least 10 - 12 years of relevant hybrid financial controllership and FP&A experience
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotech or FMCG industries highly preferred
• Experience in Big 4 will be a plus
• Strong in internal controls and understanding of operational accounting is essential
• Experience in managing and working with Shared Service Centre
• Excellent in business partnering & financial planning and analysis
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP BW, SAP rollout, Cognos, TM!, Qilkview, Lucanet
• Good team player who can work independently and perform under pressure
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment
