Senior Security Engineer (Security Assurance)

Job description

Candidate will be part of the IT Security Assurance team that perform assurance functions to maintain a high security posture for the organisation IT environment.  He or she will need to drive initiatives in the area of threat and vulnerability management and data leakage protection and perform day-to-day role in vulnerability and data security management throughout the Group.  He or she will:

• Manage all aspects of Data Protection in the Group. This includes managing Data Loss Prevention initiatives and setting up, implementing and supporting the Data Governance framework.

• Manage Threat and Vulnerability Management related projects, system upgrades and enhancements:

• End-to-end management of project including gathering requirements, solution design, conducting RFI and RFP processes, procurement, implementation, testing and operationalise the system.

• Vendor management to ensure prompt and quality deliverables

• Working with other ITD teams to leverage and/or integrate with other application and infrastructure systems

• Continue to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and if necessary, provide 2nd level support

Prerequisites

• Candidate will likely be a Degree or Diploma holder in an I.T. related discipline with at least 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in the area of communication and collaboration (C&C) and vulnerability management (VM). This includes operating and managing C&C and VM systems.

• Able to manage data security requirements for all projects and ensure compliance to these data protection requirements.

• A good team player with ability to work with all levels of staff.

• Good presentation and writing skills.

• Technical knowledge and experience in communication and collaboration solutions and threat and vulnerability management platforms shall be viewed favourably.
