Vice President – Card Operations (Technology and Operations)

Job description

Our client is an established regional bank looking to hire an experience Vice President for their Card Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will manage the cards and unsecured lending process operations. You will oversee the risk and control of the operation for quality audit and assurance outcomes. You will manage and optimize the budget for the Card Operations Centre. You will work with operations departments to identify and co-lead in transformation and productivity agendas. By working closely with business, service, and extended complex stakeholder groups, you will address business challenges and customer-employee journey enablement.

Additionally, you will drive data insights to articulate the business impact produced by operations transformations and enchantments. You will ensure the current vendors meet existing SLAs and conduct research and assessment as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor qualified

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

• MUST have a solid background in banking operations, process improvement and reengineering in Run and Change The Bank agendas, risk management, and audit quality assurance.

• Good experience in managing a small team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Solid understanding of risk and controls in operations and experience in auditing is preferred.

• Quick learner, able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, high sense of urgency
