Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Structured Trade Operations based in Singapore, you will manage a team to review Financing request to ensure the deals are in line with approved structure and ensure risk is mitigated.

In addition to providing guidance and leadership to the team members, you will also review and approve transactions and hold key account relationships to review terms of L/C, contracts, documents and ensure that deals can be self-liquidated.

You will also perform mark to market of collaterals and liaise directly with clients and manage and work within various Bank limits, counterparty limits and debtor limits.

As the Team Leader, you will also need to have sound knowledge of the banks’ policies, guidelines, controls, regulatory, AML/CFT procedures to ensure compliance.

You will work closely with the Division Head on reviewing bank’s policies, and recommend enhancements to procedures to comply with changes, and take charge of annual reviews, budgeting and resource planning.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor qualified
• Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience
• MUST have excellent working knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URC, URR, ISP, URDG, MAS/ABS guidelines
• Familiar with Commodities Trade
• Mandarin-speaking preferred as you would need to deal with clients based in China
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and in a team
