Job description
My client is currently looking for a Design Manager to join them. The successful candidate will be managing a team of designers to support various business units. You will be working closely with Business and Product Owners from initial concept explorations to creating engaging digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a small team of UI and UX to deliver on multiple projects; end to end
- Analysing design deliverables (both internal teams and external vendors) to provide relevant feedback
- Communicating and building consensus around design direction and approach to all internal stakeholders
- Presenting and selling concepts and design deliverables to senior management
- Leading creative sessions for project kick-offs
- Establishing overall creative vision and directions for projects undertaken
- Accountable for overall project delivery, ensuring projects achieved meet quality standards and is delivered on time
Requirements:
- Degree qualified with 8 years experience in a creative/design role and has taken on a leadership position before
- Good experience in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch
- Hands on experience in leading client facing projects from start to finish
- Strong in communications skills; both written and spoken
- Passionate and appreciates design and creativity
