Finance Manager (Investment Manager)

Job description

​Charterhouse has teamed up with a Global Quantitative and systematic Investment Manager to source for a Finance Manager. This is a new headcount within the team, the incumbent manages monthly Financial Accounting and reporting work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for managing the monthly financial accounting and reporting processes and maintaining close coordination with local teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness. A key aspect of the role will involves reviewing monthly financial statements to confirm compliance with both local and international accounting standards.

You will also take ownership of the monthly consolidation of management accounts, providing a comprehensive view of the organization’s financial position. In parallel, the incumbent monitor adherence to regulatory capital requirements and support compliance efforts by overseeing the preparation and submission of relevant financial returns.

The role will also involves delivering financial analysis and insights that inform and support strategic decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree educated with at least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally an Asset Manager.

• Experience reviewing monthly management accounts is a must

• Prior experience in handling India-specific returns will be a bonus

• Outstanding leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders across all levels of the organization
