Job description
We are exclusively representing our client to hire a Head of Business Transformation to join them in Singapore and the successful candidate would need to have extensive experience in Life Insurance industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Head of Business Transformation, you would be overseeing, leading and directing the business transformation division and take responsibility in identifying opportunities for business transformation in various business units. You will also create a Transformation Roadmap and lead the communication with Executive Management of all regional group companies and to ensure strategic alignment to priorities and provide advisory support.
You will also collaborate with other business units to identify potential new business models and create a structured approach to identify investment opportunities in startups:
searching for right Fintech / Insuretech investment or partnership opportunities
conducting business and commercial due diligence
handling post-acquisition monitoring of key objectives
As the Head of Department; you will also run the project management office to track the execution of all strategic transformation projects and maintain constant communication with Executive and Functional Leadership teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify, individuals must possess:
Bachelor’s Degree and above
At least 20 years of relevant experience and track record in managing senior stakeholders
MUST HAVE:
Worked in Life Insurance Companies in relevant functions (Business Transformation, Distribution, Operations, Technology)
Track record in managing large strategic initiatives (M&A, large scale transformation and new business setup etc)
Highly familiar with laws and regulations and guidelines relating to Life Insurance
Experience in working with Insuretech and Fintech would be an advantage
