Job description

​Partnering with a Global bank, we are currently sourcing for an SVP, this role is instrumental in the underwriting, portfolio management, and administration of a multi-billion-dollar warehousing loan portfolio.


The incumbent will be working closely with transactors and underwriters, the role involves thorough evaluation of credit extension requests for both new and existing clients, with a particular emphasis on intricate securitized loan portfolios during annual reviews.

You will take ownership in ensuring a meticulous process, conducting comprehensive due diligence is paramount, along with supervising the preparation of internal committee packages for approval. The primary objective is to secure credit approvals from committees, necessitating collaboration with the loan and bond sale team for potential loan syndication to various lenders and bond investors. Additionally, coordination with rating agencies is facilitated as necessary.

The position entails the development of comprehensive written and oral reports, aiming to assess the financial feasibility and creditworthiness of securitized loan warehouses. Furthermore, it requires overseeing regular monthly and/or quarterly reviews of existing borrowers to guarantee adherence to the various covenants and triggers stipulated in the Credit Agreement.

The role entails frequent travel across various Asian markets, serving as a means to engage with internal and external clients. This involves conducting thorough due diligence on specific asset portfolios and active participation in training programs.


To be qualified for this position,

  • 10+ years of credit experience, of which minimum of 5 years in securitized loan underwriting or equivalent experience.

  • Individual must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Individual must work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up.

  • Candidate has quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft based programs.

  • Excellent analytical and computer skills including the ability to quickly adopt new technology
