Job description
Charterhouse Partnership are hiring for a Credit Risk Manager, who will cover the North Asia portfolio of a leading Investment Bank, with a primary focus on either Chinese Corporates or Financial Institutions.
Responsibilities
Reporting into an Executive Director and working within a team of 4 Credit Risk professionals, the job holder will cover the Corporate / FI portfolio across North Asia. Due to the volume of the transactions, the main coverage will be across Chinese names, either Corporates (this will cover a range of industries, including but not limited to Real Estate, IT and Infrastructure) or Chinese FI/NBFIs. You will perform in-depth credit research and analysis, writing high quality credit memos. Furthermore, the incumbent will take credit decisions on loan transactions, bond issuances and derivatives trades.
Requirements
You will be a degree educated Credit Risk officer, with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant working experience, which would include working in a Corporate or Investment Bank. Due to the nature of the role, you must be well versed in performing credit risk analysis on Chinese Corporate or FI counterparties. Please note – only Mandarin speakers will be qualified for this position.
