Job description
Charterhouse is supporting an international bank to source for a AVP for their business control unit.
Reporting to the Lead, the incumbent will participate from inception through implementation, in cross-functional or cross business issues designed to ensure business compliance with laws, regulations, and policy requirements across key/complex risk levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be seated with the business to analyse and identify risk and performs analytical reporting and acts as a consultant to the businesses regarding processes & controls.
You will work closely with the business leaders to provide judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations and implement and develop controls to prevent risk
REQUIREMENTS:
You should have a Degree and min. 5 years of governance/ compliance/ audit/ control experience within Financial Services.
To possess good interpersonal skills and experience in creating and implementing processes that will improve business performance
