Job description
Our client is one of the leading banks with offices around the globe.
They are hiring an AVP/VP, Application Developer to be part of the data strategy to deliver an enterprise warehouse of trustworthy data within the bank in an easy to access, timely manner, which will allow the bank to excel at managing and using data where they can rapidly grasp new business opportunities and enjoy lower costs of doing business.
Responsibilities:
Working with the internal team,
To build/manage the ETL, System and Front End domains to enable the overall team to service its client’s needs.
To work in major projects with significant impact on the business and partnership with colleagues in global locations, the bank in the process of moving to next generation data warehouse with big data technology, which gives opportunity to work with latest technologies.
Responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Requirements:
5-8 years of relevant experience
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
