Job description
Charterhouse is currently supporting a reputable Life Insurer to source for a AVP within the Distribution Compliance Team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Risk, the incumbent will perform pre and post sales review and perform investigation duties as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible in conducting pre/post-transactions checks on representatives, and perform sample service calls to ensure compliant of the sales force. You will be tasked to identify any mis-selling and reach out to affected representatives for client service rectification.
You will conduct reviews to monitor if the agency force has duly fulfilled the regulatory requirements as set out in the company guidelines. This includes the review of documentation such as coaching forms and Joint Fieldwork Assessment.
As a subject matter expert, you should maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial services
You should possess good understanding of the distribution business and well versed in the work processes.
Prior experience in BSC and sales advisory is a must
Good communication skills with ability to positively influence senior management.
